Golden Eyes

R2 800

A pendant using ancient Rajasthani desert tribal techniques. The desert tribes would smelt old British sterling coins to make adornments for their camels, or to embellish their costumes during festivals and traditional gatherings. The cabochons are made from glass backed with yellow/gold foil, taking on the effect of citrine, but not stone at all. Hanging on a 925 silver hand-strung 3mm beaded chain.

Provenance:
Pendant – Rajasthan, India
Pendant Weight: 11.8g
Pendant Dimensions: 13x34mm
Chain Weight: 13g

Combined Weight: 24.8g
1 Rajasthani pendant – 13x34mm
1 925 hand-strung 3mm beaded chain with small claw-clasp

NB: All our pendants are sold on 925 silver chain, or sometimes leather, as per the image and description. At the time, as I write, we think it all goes quite well together, yet the silver does inflate the price. If you would like a quote for the pendant (or chain) by itself, or other necklace options, please feel free to contact us at info@afroboho.co.za
