Brandberg specimen crystal vug on matrix containing quartz, with light amethyst, calcite and prehnite. We collected this gem from the Star Mine in Goboboseb, near Uis, Namibia, travelling with FOSAGAMS (Federation of South African Gems and Minerals) on their annual Gemboree as members of the affiliate Cape Town Gem and Mineral Club.
